Support Groups

Our Peer Support Groups

What to expect

Our peer support groups are run by Janet Hood, a registered mental health nurse, and Louise Percival, a local acupuncturist, together with our Chair, Gill, who has a stoma after a traumatic childbirth herself.

Come along and chat in a relaxed, friendly environment. No booking is required, and you are free to come and go as you wish.

The Stoma Peer Support Group is open to people facing stoma surgery, those who have stomas, or who are caring for someone with a stoma.

The Childbirth Peer Support Group is open to anyone who is struggling after a traumatic childbirth, or with an injury sustained during childbirth.
